Food is an integral part of Indian Culture; we wish to promote Konkan Ratnagiri Culture and thus encourage to avoid Instant food or packaged food and beverages.
Food is sourced from local women in the village who make delicious local food, snacks and beverages for you. We will try to accommodate specific needs for food/beverages items to be served for our guests with prior intimation before check in.
Madhuban is Farthest point in Are Gaon and at border of 3 villages bit isolated. Yet reachable for local villagers to serve our guests with Home Cooked local recipes.
We request to book breakfast,lunch, and dinner menus while booking Madhuban Nature Park Stay; however within 8 hours pre-intimation we serve local cuisine.
- Breakfast, lunch or dinner are not included in any of our stay packages. This is to reduce food wastage while we are able to cater to most dietary requirements. Food is priced differently for each meal.
- Breakfast is served between 8.30 am and 10.00 am, lunch is served between 1.00 pm and 2.30 pm while dinner is served between 8.00 pm and 9.30 pm in dining area or veranda.
- We provide Electric kettle with ready to make tea, coffee.
- Guhagar / Shrungartali eateries generally shuts around 9.30-10 pm.
- We strictly do not offer parcels or room service for you to eat food in your room.
- Smoking cigarettes or drinking alcohol while consuming your meal is strictly prohibited.

Local Staples: Enjoy staples like Ragi/Rice Bhakari, Chapati, Seasonal Greens, Seasonal Vegetables, Salad, Pickles, and Papad.
Veg Specialties: Konkani style vade, Amboli, Ghavan, Raw Jackfruit Vegetable (Phansachi Bhaji) Ratnagiri style, Aam Panhe, Kokam Sarbat, Ripe Jackfruit Sandhan, Aamras, Patole in Turmeric Leaf, Aambil, Pithal(Kuleeth) -Bhakri etc.
Non-Veg Specialties: Dry Fish Savouries, Pronze masala, Mori (Fish) Masala, Tisrya Masala, Kalva Masala, Pomfret curry/Fry, Bombil Fry etc.
