Fun by River Side

The perennial river and water channels are an opportunity to enjoy canopy covered water bodies; while we are conscious to avoid polluting the same; as the same supports native villagers’ water needs.

Water holes in the river can be explored on a 45 mins trek in a rocky patch of river in Madhuban; of course Madhuban Team will accompany for guidance and share their childhood memories alongside the river.

The diversified vegetation found here makes it an ideal habitat for different species of mammals, reptiles, and birds; because of this, we follow certain norms to maintain the sanctity and serenity of the land and the forest which had been home for a lot of wild birds and trees, and a river.

In Monsoon the speed of stream gives it’s “Ultimate Power View” yet you sit by stream quietly and enjoy the “Rudra” form of water. In winters the overshadowing trees keep looking at mirrors like water and click selfies with Kingfishers nestled nearby. Summers the retained water makes the best spot for natural stream bath.

Experience the thrill of taking a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of the river that flows through Madhuban Nature Park. As you immerse yourself in the cool embrace of the river, feel the stress and worries of everyday life melt away. The gentle current will caress your body, while the soothing sounds of the rippling water transport you to a state of pure bliss.

Visit to Madhuban Supari Baug (Bettele Nut Trees)

Madhuban Team Proudly highlights Ecologically Sustainable farming. We follow 3 E’s sustainability management “ Ecology, Economy, Environment”; while selecting crop choice, making plant beds, and irrigation technology.

You will find classic examples of Step Farming at Madhuban. Old important trees, huge rocks, and original contours  are well maintained. This should avoid soil erosion while supporting the betel nut plantations.

Betel Nut is Cash Crop for Guhagar Taluka; that should be self supporting economical requirements of Madhuban Team. Installation of Rain Water Sprinklers was a huge challenge surmounted by our team.

The cool breeze and sprinklers make a memorable experience and we are happy to invite you for work on this farm. 100% Organically grown plantation is taken care of like our children by team.

As you walk along the rice paddies and hike in the Aare Goan Valleys, indulge in the warm hospitality of local families, live a day in the shoes of a rice farmer and gaze at the starry skies by night, think of how it was by a mere twist of fate that we were born in a life of privilege.

Visit to Pardalewadi and Aare are small hamlet like totally raw villages with serenity and tranquility, usually quiet unless festive seasons. In rains several water falls and streams come alive and you can enjoy the untouched forest greenery as feast to eyes like typical Konkan village.

Today the challenge to villagers is how to protect crops and plantations from the big menace of Monkeys,Wild Boars, Gaur (which you may spot on your trail).

Best part is to understand how village life is influenced by weather, nature and Global warming. Give patient ears to them and do forward your suggestions.

We accompany you in walk through Bhandarwada; taking look at few old architecture typical Konkan houses as old as 200 Years. We encourage our guests to visit Madhuban and Aare Village in biggest festivals like Ganpati, Holi, Palkhi and be part of the local culture.
